Summary

Information Technology is the central nervous system that enables Genworth to compete and win in our broad range of global products. The IT Development Program is an entry-level development program for energetic and talented individuals who demonstrate strong technical/analytical skills and business acumen with a strong desire for a leadership career within IT. The program runs approximately 24 months and includes four, six-month rotational assignments coupled with intense training opportunities, including two month-long IT Boot Camps.

Position Descriptions

Assignments will be throughout the Genworth businesses and will focus on vital business processes such as: new product introduction, sales force effectiveness, web development and the delivery of world-class innovative IT solutions. All assignments will expose program participants to using methodologies for solving complex business problems. The program consists of a series of work assignments combined with classroom training and distance learning. It includes a series of comprehensive courses which provide opportunity to share knowledge and skills, explore different Genworth businesses and network with high-caliber peers who will become a valuable resource to you throughout your career. You'll receive on-the-job training and/or formal coursework in advanced information technology and systems, as well as courses that strengthen leadership skills in Genworth's renowned leadership development curriculum.
